Welcome !

Pack 1824 is chartered to First United Methodist Church of Covington, Georgia. We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm unless there is a school holiday. We also schedule 3 events during the summer months. In addition to weekly meetings, we try to schedule a variety of activities throughout the year. Some examples of these activities are: camping, Pinewood Derby, service projects, picnics, God and Me, Bicycle Rodeo, Stone Mountain, Blue and Gold Banquet, Christmas Party, Ice Cream Social, and USS Yorktown.

Pack 1824 is raring to kick-off the new scout year with our annual Ice Cream Social to be held this Tuesday, 8/31, at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Covington. We are looking forward to welcoming many new scouts into our Pack! Our cubmaster, Mr. Paul, said Class A uniforms or Class B Pack T-Shirts are both welcome. For those new scouts, come as you are and we'll provide information on uniforms to you and we'll have a supply of our Pack T-Shirts at the registration table with our treasurer, Mr. Tim.

AppleFest at Alvord Farm this coming Saturday 8/21

See you all at 4:00 at the AppleFest at the Alvord Farm!! Be among the first 20 scouts to RSVP and you can build a kite from kits prepared by Mr. Jim! Also, we'll have hayrides, games, a conservation activity, and apples!! Come ready to play in your Class B's (Pack 1824 t-shirt and shorts) and get ready to run! Bring your lawn chairs and water bottles too. We'll be grilling hotdogs and we're sure to have apples, too!
